Ahead of the opening of two light-rail stations, Shoreline launched a two-year pilot program with Lime to provide scooter and bike sharing in the city.
Users download the Lime app to find and pay for rentals which start at $6.99 for 30 minutes.
According to the city, the program will start with 200 Lime vehicles and will include 50 bikes, operated by Lime
Riders must be at least 18 years old and riders get a 10% discount by verifying they are wearing a helmet through the Lime app.
Lime is responsible for maintenance and vehicle recovery and residents can report issues to Lime at Support@li.me or 1-888-546-3345
